Diablo II Influences
Within the lore of Diablo II The Knights of Westmarch who felled the armies of mighty King Leoric are pure at the heart and follow closely the teachings of Zakarum, the Religion of the Light. Battle-ready warriors for whom faith is a shield, they fight for what they believe to be right. Furthermore, their steadfastness give them powers to do good upon friends, and wreak cruel justice upon foes. There are those who call them overwrought zealots, but others recognize in them the strength and goodness of Light.

Our Beginnings
Formed in Southshore near the border where the living and dead meet The Knights of Westmarch were formed in support of the original Scarlet Crusade and with the mission of wiping out the undead and ridding our planet of this terrible plague. The name Knights of Westmarch comes from a book which was recovered from the Scarlet Monastery which contained the afore mentioned Diablo II lore.
